A quick "hello" before the brief "goodbye"

Thought I'd hop in for a few minutes.

Today was Anthony's last day of school. I went and spent an hour and a half with him in class and took some pictures and helped out there. It was fun.

He's having a sleepover with his best friend tonight, which is awesome. We didn't think they would get to do that before we left because they were both sick this past weekend. Hopefully it is past now, but I'm expecting at least one of the kids to get sick on our trip. It's just the nature of the beast.

Tomorrow we go and pick up the truck. Later in the afternoon the movers will come help us move out the remaining items in the house, mostly furniture and the washer/dryer. Then I get to do last minute vacuuming and washing of walls, counters, etc. Kevin finally took some time off the help a little. (Thank God.)

Friday, after the house inspection we will head East. We're planning two main stops along the way-- the Grand Canyon, and Texas to visit my MIL. I'm sure we'll look for other interesting things along the way. But I don't want to be on the road too long. We all know how fun that is with little ones.

Speaking of the little one...Annie upstairs in bed, yelling down to the bunny in the kitchen who is pounding her feet. She does it just like Thumper in Bambi. Annie is saying "That's ENOUGH BUNNY! I've had enough! I told you stop!" LOL And the more Annie shouts at her the more she does it. So funny.

Anyway, back to the move and all. We should be on the road for a couple of days. I'm guess-timating being in North Carolina around the end of next week, just to be safe. Plus or minus a day or so. But honestly I don't know for sure. The husband isn't too keen on planning things ahead. "That's what the GPS is for!" Uh huh, yep.
