I have no idea....

I have no idea how some peoples brains work sometimes. I just don't get it.

My husband likes to watch war movies before going to bed. Tonight it was Hearbreak Ridge. I think that's what it's called anyway. With Clint Eastwood. Very manly movie. Never in all my days of watching movies have I really come to understand a man's obsession with watching other men be so manly-like. It's an odd thing.

On the subject of manly things that don't make sense to me....Kevin's superiors informed him today that it is mandatory that he attend the USMC Birthday Ball. Mandatory at $63 a ticket. I couldn't help myself, I got so mad that I told him he could tell "whoever" that they can pull that money out of (a not so nice place) and pay his/our way so that we can still afford diapers, food and the car registration that is coming up which will probably prevent us from buying Anthony birthday presents. What are these people thinking?! Like we just have all this extra cash sitting around? We can hardly afford the necessities. GRRR. And there is a mandatory family picnic tomorrow that the whole family is supposed to go to. I very sweetly told Kevin he can introduce me to whoever it is that told him everything is mandatory so that I can have a sweet little chat with them.

*breath in breath out*

Edit: I forgot to add....It'll be held at a Casino. Maybe we can gamble our way in?
