At any rate. I started my day again at 2am. And I also started it by nabbing this chair from the neighbors who are moving across the street. They had a potato gun out there too, (no it wasn't a bazooka like I thought, though that would have been entertaining too), but I didn't think it would be cool to have that around. Anyway. I tried strapping across the seat bottom this afternoon, but it's not working out so well. I think instead I'll just go get a piece of ply wood cut to fit across and nail it down. It's a lovely little slider/rocker. I always wanted on.
So after coming home and spending about 6 hours surfing the web and watching shows online, (I watched Medium, Desperate Housewives, Lost and some news....can't say I enjoyed the news!), I got the kids up and dressed and we were out of the house by 9am. That's a record. I had a lot of cooperation today. Off we went driving to God-knows-where. I ended up driving along the whole of El Camino Real. Nothing spectacular, but it was interesting. We ended up at the Premium Outlets, wandering around and spending money only on a hunk of Divinity and a Sugar Crystal Lolly Pop.
Anthony enjoyed his treat while I wandered in happiness the lovely isles of Crate and Barrel.And then we entertained the children for all of $1's worth of rides. The Bob the Builder ride won, by the way.
Anthony was none to happy at having to share his 50 cents with his sister though.
All returned to happiness when water fountains were introduced.
