On the subject of "making due", we've been making due with plain Cheerios. I hate them. They are bland. They are crunchy blandness. Even a banana and milk can't save them.
In a moment of desperation for the real yummy Honey Toasted Goodness...I decided to make my own Honey Nut Cheerios. I guess desperate pregnant women will do just about anything for something if they really want it.
Recipe:
4 cups of plain Cheerios
2 Tbl melted Honey
Mix the two together. Spread on a sheet pan, and put in the oven at 250 degrees for about 45 or until they are dry. Yummy!
