Fires spreading pretty good in all directions. They've evacuated more than 300,000 now to Qualcom football stadium, and other churches and community centers throughout the area.
On base....there are voluntary evacs going on for the other side of base housing and barracks. I can't see us having to evacuate. But I wouldn't put it past them to suggest it. Ash is falling everywhere, and the air quality is pretty bad. We're good though.
They gave Kevin the day off probably as a precaution. We have family a little bit south of us that we can stay with if necessary, or we could drive back up to NorCal and stay with my mom. I don't like that idea because it's so far, but if it came to it, we'd go.
