Where is everything???

Have you ever moved and lost like 50 things that you think would be impossible to lose?

Yeah, me too. Like a chair. How do you lose a chair? That's just beyond me. Lots of things are missing though. So we're going to be doing lots of thrift shopping. (Kevin just doesn't know it yet.)

In the mean time, we've been scouring Craig's List like crazy for a table and chairs, and a sofa/couch. Have you ever looked on there? Oh my gosh, there are so many ugly things! Unfortunately, the table that we do have was damaged in transit and would rather fall over than stand up. It's making for interesting meal times, I'll say.

At least Anneliese has her high chair though. We would have taco meat everywhere if not for her chair. As it is, she threw the taco meat all over the kitchen. That stuff stains you know!!!

Anyway... Aside from the lack of furniture and missing things, everything is going pretty well. Anthony is finally sleeping in his bed. He's made a lot of friends too. The little boys next door invited him over yesterday, and when Kevin went over to get him 2 hours later the parents we're raving at what a nice, polite, intelligent, mature boy he is and that he's the nicest boy they have ever had over to play with their kids. (Insert glowing mom and suspicion about whether we're talking about the same boy!)

We got our bed upstairs. There are very few boxes left. Most of them are books, and seeing as we are lacking in shelves they will probably stay in those boxes for a while.

I'm itching to sew or draw or something, so I'm in the market for some sort of desk or table too. Wish me luck!
