If you've been reading this long....good on ya! :) No really, I appreciate your input, comments and criticism. You make me feel like I can be me.

I think this is the longest I've consistently written in a journal of any sort, as well. Go me.

Ok, so there are still more things I am getting used to around here.

1) Artillery at 6 am. I swear I thought the neighbors were pounding on the walls. And then Kevin came home and was like, "Did you here the artillery this morning?" Oh. That's what that is. We live right near SOI, (that is, School of Infantry), and the range. I was telling Kev it sounds like that big gun where they have like 3 people loading the thing, they pull the cord and it booms back as it shoots. He kinda laughed at me for calling it a big gun, but said I was right. Ah HA! See, watching war movies can be educational.

2) The warmth. It's so nice! But whereas I am throwing the covers off in the night, Anneliese too, Kevin is shivering and yanking the covers over him. And yelling at me for having the fan on. I'd say it stays like 70 in the house all the time. Gets hot in the afternoon because our house isn't shaded by any trees. We get lots of sun. The upside to that is that I get some really nice light for working, we don't have to turn on any lights until the evening, and I can take some lovely pictures. (To be seen in a moment.)

3) Nice neighbors. It's just unheard of. One of them offered to bring over cookies, watch the kids anytime, brought me info on the Preschool down the street. Aren't all neighbors supposed to be rude and grouchy? I like the change!

Took a few pictures yesterday of the kids.

Is that a black eye? Why, yes it is. Our climber took a tumble and crashed on the corner of a dresser. Much screaming ensued.

Mister man. Posing. "Cheesecake!!!" is what he says every time I take his picture.

And below is the Princess...
