Christmas time already?!

It's not even Thanksgiving yet, and I'm already thinking about Christmas. We'll be celebrating with religiosity and thankfulness for what we have. The children have mostly everything they need, so they might get one toy. The grandparents will spoil them, so I'm kind of off the hook. It's not about the stupid toys anyway. I'd almost like to say "Don't get them toys!" It's not like I have anywhere to put them!

This should be interesting with both kids and a christmas tree. Anthony was pretty good about not messing with it. Anneliese is on her own little mission of distruction though. I might put it behind the couch in a corner so she can't get to it. When the time comes...

I've been debating buying Anneliese a bed, and getting Anthony's out of storage, and starting the new year in new beds! I think it's a great idea. I could finally get some sleep without being layed on, kicked, or brutilized in my sleep. At least for an hour or so. Once again you won't be able to walk in the bedroom aside from getting in the door, but heck there's a whole living room for them to play in. I can't seem to move on the bed without running into arms or legs. Or toys under the sheets at the bottom of the bed. Lego's are not very nice to discover at three in the morning.
Anneliese is totally into playing patty-cake at like 4 in the morning. She'll sit up and start clapping her hands. Now, granted it's adorable as hell....but oh my gosh. She'll crawl all over me till I wake up, and then sit back down, grin and start clapping. SLEEP, you little snot, SLEEP!

Back on the subject of Christmas...what in the heck am I supposed to get Kevin? What do you
get a guy who can mostly get himself whatever he wants? I was going psycho trying to think of something. He's totally into electronic gadgets and whatnot, stuff I have no clue about. But I figured something out. It's REALLY good too. And he can take it with him whereever he goes, which is cool. All I'm gonna say is it's a little piece of home. If you want to know what it is, email me! Your Marine/Soldier might like it too:)

I got this ...

...And now I'm working on a hat for lil missy. I'm no ace at knitting like some of you ladies out there. But I can crochet with the best of them.
I know it doesn't look like much now, but it's pretty damn cute on her:)

I just loved the colors so much I had to have it. It's wool too so it'll be really warm for her head....I can kind of justify spending so much on it that way:)
