Weird quirks as a mom....

My son is mostly potty-trained now. He just wears a diaper at night. But I was still helping him out with cleaning up after going potty. Last night he did his business...and I waited around as usual to help him out...I got within three feet of him and he yells at me to let him do it!

Not that I'm complaining about not being able to wipe my boys butt(Hah! Thank God he wants to do it. I'll be doing it plenty when the baby arrives!)...but it made me realize (AGAIN) just how fast he's growing up. This mom isn't so needed anymore. I relish that he still loves to "warm snuggles" with me though. I'll take all I can get:)

Kev called last night to let me know he got the leave time that he requested. YAYAYAYAYAYAY! So he'll be home at the end of the month. I'm so happy.

Then I had a dream that he took me out to dinner the night he got home and told me he would have to do Recruiting the whole time he was home. When I got upset he stormed out of the restaurant and drove away leaving me with the bill, and sobbing, and humiliated in front of like 30 people. And then he came back because he forgot his cell phone on the table. I hate when I have dreams like that. (It better NOT be a premonition. I'll have to open a major can of Popeye whoop ass on someone;)

So today we're going to look at some homes. Mom tried to threaten me into staying home, but I'd like to be able to see the places she's looking at. I think she's just worried cause I'm sick on top of everything else. Well, that and I could really have this baby at anytime now and I don't think she wants to be the only one in there with me when it happens:) You'd think after six of her own and being with me the first time it wouldn't be such a big deal...heheh. I guess I can't blame her though. I probably would feel the same way.

Anywho.

Gonna shower now before the little boy wakes up and starts tormenting the household!
