Ugh, I'm sick. Again. So tired of it.
Something happy....let's see...Umm it's already the 10th! We're almost half way through the month. That is good. That makes me happy.
A house update.
Our realistate agent sent a formal letter to the buyers rep saying we need to know by tomorrow, in writing, if they want the house and their final offer. Otherwise we're walking. In which case dad will have to buy out mom. At this point I don't really care either way, I just want someone to hurry up and do something cause I'm tired of living out of boxes in a dump. I don't feel like I have a home which really bothers me with this baby coming so soon. Anyway, the result of the appraisal was that the house appraised at the asking price but the underwriter refused to put that on the paper work because of all the trash on the property. (Wood, fencing, tools, garbage, etc.) I don't know what's going to happen with it all...
Tomorrow me and mom are going to look at some places in town. The one we're most interested in is a five bedroom mobile with a little yard in front. It would do for a while. We could fix it up a little and then she could sell it for a little bit more. We'll see. As long as there isn't something drastically wrong with it I'm guessing she'll go ahead and buy it. We'll look at the others though, just to make sure there isn't something better out there.
More book reviewing...I'm reading A Map of The World. It was supposed to be one of the 10 best books of 1994. I can't say I'm a fan. I just don't get what's up with people reading these depressing as hell books and saying they are wonderful and that the authors are truly "inspired". I was thinking I could write a book, have it be fictional, and based on the realities of my life, and quite possibly have a better and more interesting book than half the authors I've read over the last couple of months. Anyway, I've decided not to finish this book because it's just dragging me under and life is hard enough without having to read about other peoples miseries as well. Maybe that's close minded, I don't know, but I'd rather read 'smutt' than have to be depressed.
I rented Into The Blue the other day. I can see people rolling their eyes at me, but it was a fairly decent movie. No sex. Plenty of drugs and violence though. But it was tolerable, despite that blond guy's terrible acting. It was entertaining. I didn't get bored, which I seem to do a lot lately while trying to watch a movie. I also rented March of the Penguins. That was cute film. Very "National Geographic". I love National Geographic so maybe I'm a little biased:)
It could be a while again before I post again. My computer is still being stupid due to unkown factors resulting from one brothers screwing it up and having to flatline the whole thing. I'm still mourning the loss of all my pictures and recipes...Maybe someday I will get them all back. Anyway...for now, I'll just pray I can get back online again:)
Toodloo.
