The Ball.

Kevin has been in the Marine Corps for 6 years this year, and this year was my first time going to the Ball. All the things leading up to it were not so enjoyable, like stressing over a dress to wear, babysitting issues, and all that...but in the end it worked out ok. And it was neat to finally be able to go.
Next year I plan on being prepared with dress and babysitter and everything so that we're not feeling jerked around at the last minute when they say "We're having the ball in 24 hours! See you there!". They're sort of like the boy scouts and the motto fits well-- ALWAYS be prepared. Yes, you wives too.
