Yesterday was spent hugging the porcelain god. There are so many things I prefer over throwing up. I'd even rather be going through labor than experience losing my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And whatever food or drink makes it's way to my tummy in between those meals. I think we have met the monster of all flu's this year. Here's hoping none of you experience it. Luckily for me, I had some of my medication from my pregnancy left over and was able to make use of it in a big way. Just a little tired and nauseous now.

The advanced party of Kevin's unit has arrived in Iraq. I think Kevin is sad to see them go...Perhaps even a little nerve-wracked over not being able to go with his friends. I'm glad that I'll be having my husband home soon though. It'll be good for all.

I ordered a new pair of glasses last week. I was expecting that they would be here by now. Unfortunately I was emailed yesterday that they were just sent out. (According to the tracking number....we don't know where they are right now.) I'm not very good at being patient about getting things that I spend so much money on. I guess because I'm paranoid that they will be lost in the mail or damaged or something. My last glasses were free. But that was almost 10 years ago when I was still covered by my dad's insurance and almost everything was free. Tricare kind of sucks in that way. Everything is free, mostly...except glasses. You pay. Boy do you pay. But in case anyone is interested, I found my glasses online at GoOptic.com . I got them with scratch stuff, tinting, and uv protection for about half of what I would have paid in a store somewhere. Check it out.
