We all have had a bout with the flu. First me, then Anthony, and Anneliese is now getting well. She was, by far, the sickest-- projectile vomiting and diarreah and a fever. The flu should just be outlawed. I must say though...when the baby wasn't crying or moaning or throwing up she was an absolute angel. She even let me cuddle her. How crazy is that! She enjoyed getting to play with the rosary the most though. I never let her because she has a knack for breaking them. She was quite good with it this time. I think because she was too out of it to really do anything too damanding on her little body.
Do you just love my new-to-me duvet cover and pillow cases? $3 at a thrift store. And brand new from Ikea. Does that just rock or what?!
Yesterday the power went out. Of course. That has to happen at least once a month or it would not be California. And it wouldn't be done right if they didn't do it at a very important moment. Like when you are trying to save something on the computer, or cleaning out the pantry with food stuffs covering the whole kitchen floor. The kids were going nuts in the dark so we spent the evening wandering about none other than Walmart! There's something for everyone. And McD's for dinner. So all was good.

THis here is my newest toy. It's a paper cutter. Soooooooo nice.
These are the shoes I found to go with my gold dress. If I find something better I'll just .....have to fina another dress for these to go with! :)
